To solve the increasing number of compatibility issues arising over the years with the downloadable versions of Copycat, I prepared a Docker version of Copycat. This is currently provided as-is with no guarantee whatsoever to run on your system. However, given how Docker is supposed to work I am fairly confident that it will work on Linux host machines. Try it out, and, feedback is always welcome!

A bug has been fixed in v2.04:
* [FIXED] bug which caused the host distance matrix to be not properly transposed when using AxPcoords (only happening in the Windows version of Copycat)

A small bug has been fixed in v2.03:
- [FIXED] potential bug that occurred under newer JAVA versions which prevented the user from using distance matrix files in Copycat’s second tab

Updated version 2.02 of Copycat released
A couple of bugs have been fixed in v2.02:
- [FIXED] Some ‘Cancel’ buttons did not trigger
- [FIXED] Conversions from taxa lists to distance matrices got sometimes stuck
- [FIXED] Buttons in setup menu were sometimes hidden
- [FIXED] Scrolling in log-message window did not work properly
- [ADDED] AxParafit and AxPcoords executables for 64Bit Linux added
